Your voice — specifically your own voice — is one of the most underestimated instruments available to you. Modern neuroscience is beginning to confirm what ancient traditions always knew: the voice carries a frequency that is inseparable from the state of the person producing it. This subsection is dedicated to that intersection — and to a practical technique that puts it to work.

What It Is
A personal practice that uses vivid imagination, full sensory embodiment, and your own recorded voice to create a precise internal signal — delivered to the subconscious mind at the exact moment it is most receptive.

This technique draws on several converging areas of research.
The Hypnagogic State
The threshold between waking and sleep is a period of heightened neuroplasticity and reduced critical filtering. The brain shifts from beta/alpha wave activity toward theta — a state associated with deep learning, memory consolidation, and heightened receptivity to suggestion. What you send into the mind at this threshold is processed differently than during ordinary waking consciousness.
Mental Simulation & Neural Equivalence
Neuroscience research on mental simulation consistently shows that the brain activates the same neural pathways during vivid imagined experience as it does during actual experience. When the imagination is anchored in specific sensory detail — sight, sound, smell, touch, taste — the body responds as if the event is occurring. This is measurable neurological activity.
Heart-Brain Coherence
Research from the HeartMath Institute demonstrates that emotionally coherent states — particularly positive emotional states held with genuine feeling — generate measurable changes in heart rate variability and electromagnetic field output. The body, in a coherent state, is literally broadcasting a different signal than in a state of stress or contraction.
Your Own Voice as a Trusted Signal
Of all the sounds the nervous system processes, the owner's own voice occupies a uniquely trusted position. It bypasses layers of filtering that apply to external voices. When you hear your own voice — especially recorded in a genuine emotional state — your nervous system receives it as an internal signal, not an external instruction.
Present-Tense Language & the Subconscious
The subconscious does not process tense the way the conscious mind does. A statement in the future tense is processed as a description of absence. A statement in the present tense is processed as a current reality to be confirmed and reinforced. This reflects how implicit memory and habit formation operate.
The Practice: Step by Step
Imagine the best thing that can happen to you tomorrow
Not in a month. Not in a year. The very next day. Let your creativity nourish — do not limit yourself to anything. It could be winning a lottery ticket. It could be meeting the love of your life. It could be a conversation that changes everything. Let it arrive without judgement.
Inhabit it fully
Once you have it, imagine all the details as if it is happening right now. Then focus on the physical sensations — what you see, what you hear, what you smell, what you touch, what you taste. Notice what those sensations cause in your body. Where does the feeling sit? Observe the state. The joy of feeling it.
Find the category
Now let your attention move to the most general essence of what you are feeling. Is it joy? Abundance? Love? Freedom? Safety? Find the word that is most true for you in this moment, and let it sit in your mind while you stay connected to the physical sensation.
Form your sentence
Find a single sentence — present tense — that for you represents this state most completely. For example: "All the abundance out there flows to me." The sentence should feel like a fact, not a wish. It needs to be as if it is happening.
Record it in state
This is the most important step. Visualise the moment to return to the feeling. Name the feeling. Remind yourself of the sentence. Feel it. Then record yourself speaking that sentence — calmly, easily, from inside the state. Not performed. Not forced. From the feeling itself.
Listen at the threshold
Create a loop of your recorded sentences and listen to it as you fall asleep — specifically in that special phase when you are already drifting but not yet fully unconscious. This is where, as many people who have practised this report, the magic starts to happen.
Why It Works: The Deeper Layer
The state and feeling evoked through vivid, sensorially anchored thought creates a clear signal — one that is present at the precise moment the mind transitions from conscious to unconscious, from the active to the receptive, from idea to form. The last signal sent before that switch happens is the first one read by the subconscious — which, as the most faithful executor imaginable, takes whatever signal it receives and works to create the corresponding form in reality.
This is why non-attachment to the form matters. You are sending a state, not a blueprint. The external form that state takes depends on far more than your signal alone — it is shaped by the signals of everyone around you, and around them, and so on. Send the state clearly. Release the form entirely. Trust the process.
A Personal Note from Ivan
I first used this technique while still working in the corporate world, during the period when I was building True Alchemy and preparing to make the transition to full entrepreneurship. I imagined — in full sensory detail — a moment the very next day where that transition had begun to take shape.
The next day, I ran into a former colleague. I told him about what I was building, about my skills and experience. He connected me directly with an HR manager for an interview.
I am not saying the technique caused the meeting. I am saying that the state I was in — clear, open, already feeling the expansion of what I was moving toward — shaped how I showed up in that conversation. And that changed everything.
